Inspired by the collaborative, community-created spirit surrounding Japan’s iconic virtual singer, this one-of-a-kind evening brings anime and pop culture fans, folk dancers, cosplayers, music lovers, and curious newcomers together on the dance floor. Learn fun, accessible folk dances from around the world set to a mix of traditional and contemporary music, enjoy a special performance and participatory experience with Taiko Shine, enjoy an assortment of Japanese and International refreshments, and discover new connections through music, movement, and shared creativity.
No dance experience or partner is needed, and cosplay and Miku-inspired attire are enthusiastically welcomed—but never required. Whether you come for Hatsune Miku, Japanese culture, international dance, or simply a fun and unexpected night out, everyone is invited to join the celebration!

Special Guest Performance: Taiko Shine!
Take a dance break and enjoy the powerful rhythms of Taiko Shine. Taiko is an international drumming art form of Japanese origin that engages the body and voice, fosters healing, and builds community. You may even have a chance to try a simple taiko rhythm yourself!
