  • Tapestry Folkdance Center’s Ballroom Variety brings the magic of social dances to everyone—no partner or experience needed! Each month, we focus on a different ballroom style, with highly skilled professional instructors guiding you from the basics on the first Sunday, to more advanced moves later in the month.

  • Wear clothing that is comfortable to dance in with non-marking, smooth soled shoes that glide when you spin are highly recommended.

  • Mostly Waltz is a relaxed and welcoming evening of partner dancing centered around the beautiful rhythms of the waltz. The evening features mostly waltzes, along with a few other smooth and flowing partner dances.

    Dancers of all experience levels are welcome. Many people attend without a partner, and partners often rotate throughout the evening so everyone has a chance to dance.

    Expect a friendly community atmosphere where the focus is on enjoying the music, connecting with others, and sharing the joy of dancing together.

    Whether you're new to waltz or have been dancing for years, Mostly Waltz offers a warm and inviting space to move, learn, and be part of the dance floor.
