A Spring Gumbo of Dances - Tapestry Benefit Bash & Silent Auction
Saturday, May 30th, 6:30pm - Midnight
- A Gumbo of eclectic music, dance styles, and diverse people coming together to build a stronger Tapestry dance community.
- Featuring Dan Newton and members of Café Accordion playing a mix of world music. Music will include: waltz, cha-cha, swing, lindy-hop, schottische, hambo, cajun, polka, foxtrot, and tango.
- Delicious snacks, sweets, and beverages served.
Tickets are $15 per person and are now available at our admission tables.

Come check out Laur's annual Bizarre Bazaar, a wonderful eclectic collection of art, textiles and folk-related items for sale, during dances on May 8th and 9th.
All proceeds go to Tapestry Folkdance Center
Spotlight Series: Zydeco with Flory Katz
Saturdays: May 2, 9, 16, 23, 7-8:30 pm
Flory is an avid Cajun and Zydeco dancer and an active Board member of Krewe de Walleye, the local Cajun/Zydeco organization. Flory has taught Creole and Cajun dance styles at the Amana Zydeco Festival in Iowa and most recently was a featured instructor at the 14th annual Cascade Zydeco Dance Camp in Mt. Hood, Oregon.

Facilities Volumteer Day - June 6th 9am - 2pm
