Step lightly at an ethereal evening of English Country dancing
inspired by John Playford’s 1650 publication. Learn
seventeen dances over four Sunday sessions in February Tapestry Folkdance Center.
At 5:30 p.m. we offer an optional
vegetarian light supper (@ $10) prior to the evening’s merriment. Dancing
begins at 7 p.m. with members of Coleraine English
Country Dance Band. Don your shimmery gossamer or formal attire is encouraged
but not required

The Ball opens with Sellengers Round followed by three sets of six
dances. These English country dances will be taught four Sundays in February
at Tapestry Folkdance Center, 3748 Minnehaha Ave S, Minneapolis.
