Tapestry Folkdance Center
$5,000 Matching Grant PDF Print E-mail

Did you hear?

Fellow dancer George Power will donate $5,000 to Tapestry for operational support if we raise another $5,000 by June 30, 2012!

George writes: "my wife and I live a relatively frugal lifestyle. Now, we are able to help some of the places that are important to us."

This is an amazing opportunity for everyone who cares about dancing at Tapestry to make a contribution that will DOUBLE the effect of every dollar you contribute. Think about the possibilities, talk with your family, and rise to George's challenge! Watch the “Sailing into the Future” poster outside the large dance space. We’ll be coloring in blank spots as contributions come in, whether from individual dancers, or from dance groups.

Spring into action now for Tapestry!

If you would like to donate with a credit card, please do so via GiveMN.org:

Checks may be sent to the office.

Silent Auction Donations for Sailing into the Future PDF Print E-mail
Support Tapestry, and help make a fun evening on June 2, by donating to the "Sailing Into the Future" silent auction!
Wondering what could you donate? Perhaps you have special expertise in cooking, baking, gardening, pet care, or an artform. Several Tapestry dancers are donating dinner parties, and in-home baking events. Lessons (dance, music) and a boating outing are other items. In the health-and-pampering category, some dancers are offering massage and other body work. Business owners are donating gift certificates. Thanks to all of them for sharing their talents and services.

More items will make for more fun, and more money for Tapestry. Please consider donating (see attached form). Donations may be brought to dances and left with admissions volunteer or house manager.
