Dancers younger than high school get in free.
Chris Kalogerson Orchestra plays a wide variety of ballroom dance music, swing, foxtrot, waltz rhumba, cha-cha, samba tango & polka. They especially enjoy playing dancers' requests so let them know what you wish to hear.
Before the dance, dance instructor Monica Mohn will use "the box" to get dancers familiar with hold and movement, then will demonstrate how to use the box for waltz, foxtrot and rhumba.
First Saturday dances offer a different style of music and dance each month at Tapestry. What stays the same each month is live music by local bands and the dance lesson at the start of the night at 7:30pm.
