May Fundamentals class is African-based Movement with Patricia Brown

Come have FUN in a communal environment , while experiencing African-based Movement styles! From traditional to fusion, lean fundamental technique such as posture, rhythms, connection to music, and more while participating in this energetic sharing. No prior experience or skill level is necessary. Come nurture your body, mind, and spirit in our joyous and lively classes! Please not that we will be dancing barefoot. For special circumstances, please talk with your instructor. 

Patricia Brown is a dancer, instructor, choreographer, and performer...active in the Twin Cities for the past 18 years. Her style is rooted in and influence by dance of West Africa, the Caribbean, and the Americas.

Thursdays 7-8:30pm, in Tapestry's small dance space
Admission cost (at door): $8 general/ $7members/$6 students (w/ student ID)
FREE admission to kids ages 13 & under (must be supervised by an adult)

Tapestry is putting the "fun" in its new FUNdamentals classes which feature a different style of dance each month. These lessons are perfect for beginners and also help address fundamentals for experienced dancers.
