Tapestry features Café Accordion Orchestra for two First Saturdays in 2011 on February 5 and April 2. “Berets and bongos” describes the Café Accordion experience. An eclectic mix full of French flare, Latin heat and Bohemian attitude. The heart of CAO repertoire is the romantic, gypsy-influenced valse-musette. The group complements the musettes with swing, ballads, tangos, cha chas, rumbas, and cumbias to create a wonderfully varied show. They inject their music with good humor and expressive abandon. Their high level of musicianship and passion for performance makes them an entertaining concert act as well as a great dance band. Café Accordion Orchestra is led by Dan Newton on accordion and vocals, with Eric Mohring on mandolin, violin and vocals, Erik Lillestol on bass and vocals, Robert Bell on guitar and vocals and Joe Steinger on percussion. Café Accordion has been delighting audiences and dancers alike since 1995.
Dance and music lessons from 6 to 7 p.m. Putting them both together from 7 to 8 p.m.
First Sundays feature a multi-generational Nordic Dance especially for families with teachers Kari Tauring, Carol Sersland (Scandinavian dance tradition bearer & acclaimed instructor) and music by Stavers in the House.

A Longdans (long dance) is the way the Vikings would sing and dance together while learning history and passing tradition.
