Admisson: $10/$8 for Tapestry members and students 7:30 pm - 8:00 pm: Country 2-step dance lesson by Flory Katz 8:00 pm - Midnight: Dance to music with Trailer Trash

After seventeen years, Minnesota's premier honky tonk band, Trailer Trash is enjoying its place in Minnesota musical history. They have performed at Jesse Ventura's Innaugural Ball at the Target Center, played the opening of the new Guthrie Theater, and entertained countless thousands at their annual Trashy Little Christmas Show. The group is known for playing country music, but the band can swing, rock and groove with many other styles from the American hit parade. They enjoy turning on new generations to the classic sound of American roots music. Their contagious enthusiasm and obvious enjoyment onstage have earned Trailer Trash the reputation of being Minnesota's premier honky tonk band. The band has provided the soundtrack to hundreds of Twin Cities courtships and wedding receptions. Somewhere in that time, the group racked up seven MN Music Awards, appeared in two movies, and put out six albums.

Dance 8:30-11:30pm
Cajun dance lesson by Maurine McCort 7:30-8:30pm

Bayou Grenouille (loosely translated as "Frog Slough") plays the traditional Cajun dance music of rural southwest Louisiana. Following in the footsteps of groups like the Balfa Brothers, this acoustic dance band consists of two fiddles, accordion, rhythm guitar, bass, and percussion with most of the singing done in Cajun French. The band is comprised of Maureen Mullen (guitar & vocals), Betsy Neil (fiddle & vocals), Matt Neil (fiddle), Ted Klotz (drums & triangle), Doug Lohman (bass) & Gary Powell (accordion). Together these musicians blend the haunting melodies and powerful rhythms of Cajun two-steps and waltzes which will transport you down the Mississippi River to the bayous of Louisiana.
