Also influenced by Western dance styles like hip hop\, B ollywood dance is lyrical and attitude/expression oriented. Techno Contra is a catch phr ase for high energy Contra dancing to modern music accompanied by special effects lighting. The music could be what you hear on the radio\, or any o ther modern genre. The tempo is typically more lively than a traditional C ontra dance\, and the length of time a dance lasts may vary from signle so ngs to medleys. Techno Contra conveys energy and club dancing even though much of the music may be pop\, celtic fusion\, or electronica rather than strictly techno. The fact that a number of these dances contain low lighti ng lends to the club atmosphere. \n\ndJ improper has a passion for music\ , but is also an avid Contra dancer.
